In as the chapter, according to Gil, the history of life to the measure that is constituted through the personal story of the informer concerning the lived situations, makes possible the inquiry of the phenomena of changes, (1999, p.123) thus we will harvest depositions on the impact that the revolutions of 1930 and 1932, had caused in the life of the people of the pacata city of Ribeira.
